  1. here is what we have tried:  tin pans on strings, white rags on strings, ammonia, radio, human hair, motion lights, gas cannon, and electric fence.  Most of these worked for a little while but when the deer gets used to the racket they come back and bring their little friends!  A spotlight and a rifle has been the most effective.  Sorry but if you don't do something the rascal will eat everything you have.  Venison is good!  this way you can grow your meat and potatoes, too.

  2. One method used by my grandparents would be to string a line, with a white rag tied to it.  The white rag moving in a slight breeze would scare the deer off.

With today's electronics, of course, you could set up a motion sensor light.  I'd try this first, myself.

I've also heard of folks using things to make the plants less 'tasty' to the deer, hehehe... like sprinkling hot pepper powder around....I'm not sure how effective that was, hehe.

    Good Luck

  3. Get a dog.Put a on at dark light out there.Put a motion detector light on garden (then shoot him :^)  )

  4. Get a pet dog
