Last night I dreamt I caught my mom having an affair. Then a few minutes later (I guess in dream time) I caught one of my supervisors doing the same thing. What really threw me for loop was that both of them were having affairs with really young guys (like 18-19 years of age).

And for some reason I was only a little shocked with my mother that she would even do something like that, but I was absolutely disappointed in my supervisor. I just kept thinking, "I can't believe she would even stoop that low. I thought she were better than that....." And stuff like that.

This dream definitely caught my attention, so I wanted to know what any of this would mean.

  1. Dreams are always what you make it..... you give it the power to control anything.... This could mean betral.....infedelity...dishonesty....an... it doesn't even have to be them two having an affair, it could be someone else around you...

  2. Dont Worry! Im Sure Its Just A Dream!

  3. What I like to do is crack the egg gently and split it letting the egg whites out into the pan because nobody needs that extra cholesterol. Fry it under a steady temperature, but make sure it isn't too hot or you will burn the breakfast.

  4. ermm little boys??

  5. Dreams are creepy.  Years ago, I had a dream that I overslept and ended up late for work, and working back at an old company I used to work at when I was like 19. Anyways I overslept that same night I actually had this dream that I overslept and was late for work!  Then with in one years time I was unemployed and guess what? YUP! working back at that dam company!!

    call it what you want but it happened, I am totally creeped out about them mainly because of this next dream situation;

I had a dream two huge things happened this year; one is I won the lottery ...big bucks too great huh! well not really because the other was I died on a Sunday that fell on the 20th, the only reason I remembered the date in the dream,  was because it was three days before a birthday......and guess what? next Sunday falls on the 20th and it's three days before my wife's birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so yea, no lottery (yet) but I am freaking out here wondering if this is gonna happen ....scary stuff.

  6. its probebly nothing and untill these dreams come true dont worry

  7. First, I notice some people confusing "meaning" with "predicting" and they are two completely different things. As for a meaning, maybe it means that you are having a conflict between growing up, - being responsible, respectable, and however you see these two authorities - and what you might see as your more youthful, playful, or immature side. Maybe these two aspects of your life are not well integrated, which it is pretty common to be a little torn between (for example) "what should I be like as a young professional" versus "I still want to have fun and be wild". Some people think these two sides are mutually exclusive or experience guilt for being too much one way or the other, but really you can integrate both sides and be a completely great person.

  8. If yoiu are in a relationship you may be thinking of having an affair

  9. Well, So far in dream interpreting i know that weddings mean death somewhere, or maybe its the opposite but, anyways im thinking maybe your parents found new lovers!?!?

Maybe you should try asking your mom if shes having an affair or come straight forward with it like saying i know youre having an affair, maybe the truth will come out ...

  10. Im not really shure.

But it could mean they had done something in they're past.

But there is always that possibility that it was just a dream.

Like sometimes I have dreams of people dying.

But they arent really dead, and they never were.

Just think about how many things in dreams really happen, or have happened.

    & That could help you.

  11. Maybe you're having some trust issues with people in your life.  You feel like you know the person but they've shown themselves to be something other than what you thought.

I'm not great at analyzing dreams, but that seems to be the underlying theme of both dreams.

  12. Your dream suggests that you are going through a time of increasing responsibility and may look at others a bit more critically than when you were younger.

It is doubtful that your mother and supervisor share exactly the same standards as you see them.  Both are 'authority' figures, even if you are 'outgrowing' that with your mother by now.  Your mother you know well - and while there may be things she might do that you would not find totally satisfactory you might be quite accepting out of closeness and a realization of her real humanity.

Your supervisor you likely know only one way - one of authority and one you would expect to hold the line in probably all ways.  Of course she too is human - but this you would expect self-control in.

Why the young guys?  That seems to complete the picture of 'disobedience' - something taboo, off limits.  If they are to be portrayed as doing something less than perfect, then let the picture fill the frame fully.  They too have their tripping points of temptation - this could represent that edge in each case.

And why your mother, then the supervisor?  If you are embarking on a new career and leaving the guardianship of your mother for that of the workplace, it is a logical comparison.  Mom got you here in human form - a mom is a mom.  But a supervisor - that's an 'official' corporate badge.  You would have been trained or oriented to your workplace in some way and would see her as a standard bearer.  You may expect more from her whereas your mother may have faults you are aware of and accept already.  It is normal to be curious as to the humanity behind the shield - and quite normal to compare the comparitive authorities in your life to this point.

Perhaps some of this may help you understand the reason and triggering mechanism for the dream.

    All the best to you.
