I dreamt I was in my school at my Senior year. I finished my exam. And, I am waiting for my bestfriend outside her classroom finishing her exam. Then, I saw my elementary crush who is finishing his exam also. Then, my bestfriend talked with my elementary teacher. This elementary teacher told me I have to prepare two big exams tomorrow.

  1. No offense, but this is ridiculous. Why must you honestly need this dream to be interpreted? It was short and obviously not too detailed. Here is my interpretation:

Dreams are caused by the released chemical, DMT, in your brain. DMT can be found in it's purest form as crystal and is a hallucinogenic, which would explain why you see things and feel like you're alive in another world. It is a subconscious state. The types of dreams we have depend on what our brain is most focused on recently. You should think about it, I'm sure you can interpret this yourself now.

  2. Hmmm...... still in school, I see.  I think it's about time I receive a graduation announcement from you, Kathy!  ;- )

I notice you are a senior now!  Congratulations.  Do you feel you are making progress in some areas where you have been required to learn new things?  Because you have already dreamed elementary school and junior high.  Dreaming of high school seems like you must be feeling some sense of progress in areas of your life that matter a lot to you.  Does this make sense to you, based on what is happening in your life?

I'm curious why you always dream of this elementary school crush.  Could this mean you still feel like a "school girl" when it comes to romantic relationship?  Do men make you feel intimidated?

How did you feel when you had this crush?  Was it a pleasant feeling, or did you feel horrible, like so embarrassed and shy?  That's how crushes felt to me in school.  I had my last crush my senior year, and am SO glad not to be there any more!!!  Every time that guy walked up to my table at lunch to say "Hi" to his brother (who had a crush on me!) I lost my appetite and put my sandwich in my paper lunch bag and didn't eat any more.  Having a crush is a lot like having the flu!  Is that how crushes made you feel?

Do you still know this guy?  Or does he represent something to you?  I'm asking all these questions, because the fact that you keep dreaming of him shows he is important to the meaning of your dreams.  Is he the same one you dream of in the other dreams?

About the elementary school teacher... is she saying SHE has to prepare for two big exams tomorrow, or that YOU have to prepare for two big exams tomorrow?

If you are the one who has to prepare, I'm thinking there are some issues left over from your childhood you need to confront and deal with before you can move on the the next level of emotional strength.  Pray and ask God to reveal what issue you are avoiding that needs to be revealed and healed in your life.  This is scary, because it means you will have to think about some things that hurt you.  But if these hurts are still inside you, you will keep hurting until you DO deal with these issues and let God heal your heart.

I'm praying RIGHT NOW that God will gently open your eyes to whatever it is you need to see and bring it out to the light so you can give it to Him.    If you agree with me in this prayer, then we can trust God to answer it, ok?

    Love and prayers,

    Fairelight

    I'm curious

  3. Maybe your reflecting and have a small desire to go back in time and find closure? Maybe you miss those days and wish you could go back with your best friend and explore the "what could have been" with your crush?

  4. school dreams are symbolic of  an uncertainty to an upcoming project. Also, when dreaming of exams or taking tests, Freud interpreted this to mean the person who was dreaming it was being faced by some impending issue; so subconsciously he falls back to when he was in school takiing tests. Freud also attributed such worries to a carry-over from a childish fear of punishment for trifling misdeeds resulting in constant dread of doing things wrong without really knowing why.
