I had a dream last night that the Astros signed both CC Sabathia and Ben Sheets this winter?

Look for at least one of them to end up on the Yankees, the other probably on the Dodgers. Yes, McLane is rich, but so is every other owner. His baseball revenues wouldn't justify signing a guy for that much. Look at him letting Beltran leave a few years ago, after the incredible post season he had there. If he isn't going to toss megabucks at someone on his own team, he won't do it for someone else, let alone two someone elses.

There's probably less the 0% chance this will happen.

They both will be asking for more than 100 million each.

I doubt the Astros would pay that for at least 1.

That would BE GREAT if they signed both of them but I Would say they would signed one or the other NOT both but that would be GREAT

That would be great for the Astros, it could happen but more likely with Ed Wade is for him to sign marginal talent already on the roster to lucrative contracts that will handcuff the franchise until well after he is gone.

That would be a filthy rotation though...Oswalt, Wandy, CC and Sheets.........WOW!

I think the Dodgers are interested in CC Sabathia.  However, because they got burned with the acquisition of Schmidt, they would have to move much more carefully this time.  CC is from California and rumors have it he wants to come go to a California team.
