I had a dream last night where i was being chased by two unknown men who were trying to kill me?

I also had a dream where me and my family were at a canyon and we were trying to get to the other side; then my dad lost balance and i watched him fall, i couldnt help. These dreams are really upsetting and I just wondered if anyone knows what they mean?
