I had a dream of a way to save yourself during an aircraft free fall. can it be true?

Question

i was in a dream and was falling in a helecopter from hitting a hundred foot bridge. (i think it was from playing to much Gta 4)

anyway

about 5 feet before i hit the ground i JUMPED up...>UP< off the side of the hellicopter, and i guess jumpin straight up off the hellicopter before i hit the ground slowed my rate of fall.

DO YOU THINK THAT THIS IS POSSIBLE?

Not possible.  The Mythbusters did it with a dummy in a falling elevator.  Bugs Bunny once did this in a cartoon in an elevator that was falling down a big tall building. Just before the elevator hit the ground he jumped up in the air. But in real life, the difference between the speed you are falling and the speed you are jumping is a huge difference.  So jumping won&#039;t have any effect.
