I had a dream?

Question

I had a dream that I was taking care of an egg, making sure it wouldnt crack. In my dream, the egg started shaking, like if it was about to hatch, weird thing is, when the egg was shaking, I felt something in my stomach shake really fast,,, it kinda hurt and tickled at the same time. And then its like I woke up in my dream and I was holding this beautiful baby, he was wearing a white baby shirt (the ones that have clip things instead of buttons), blue little gloves and booties. The baby was sleeping so I put his head on my shoulder and was holding the rest of his little body, when he layed his head on my shoulder, he hugged me with his little hands, I felt my heart rush and felt love.

What can this mean?

I loved the dream.

This is not the first time I dream about a baby.

it means that you want a baby...not a difficult one to figure out. maybe you think about it during the day? maybe you should try a puppy or kitten first.

You have a strong maternal instinct, a need to love and nurture something or someone.   If you can't have a baby, maybe you could get a kitten or a little dog or something.

Also, waking up from a dream into another dream, this used to happen to me a lot when I was a kid.  Someone told me it was fairly rare, and that it means something, something good, but I can't remember now.

I think it means you wanna be a mom. I don't know how old you are or what your situation is, but maybe you need to fill the void with something.

Well, if anything, this is your brain on auto-pilot taking things that you have thought about in the past and interperate them into a scenario. Basically, it's saying,"this is what could happen if you have a baby." The egg most likely represented the pregnancy and your stomach hurting probably represented you going into labor. And then you were probably enjoying the fact that the baby in the dream was hugging you, representing the fact that you might be a good mother, if you so choose to be.
