I had a dream that I was selling bras and panties?

I was back in Vietnam with the guy I fell in love with over the summer; we'll call him Tom. And Tom's friend was there, too. We were walking down this path through the forest together. Then he handed me the basket and walked off. So, I went to sell them.

I would think the baskets were symbolic of where you knew him.

Bras and panties are pretty intimate. Maybe "Tom" showed you his intimate self.

He gave them to you before he walked off ¿did you feel abandoned? ¿Did you shrug your shoulders?

You sold his intimate secrets (the bras and panties). That would be a pretty pragmatic acceptance of the parting.
