I had a dream that lasted for 60 years!!!?

Haha no, but it sounds neat. You can change just about anything in a lucid dream though. I can even control when I wake up sometimes and how I 'exit' the dream haha.

Have you ever seen the movie 'Waking Life'? It's a really sweet animated/live action flick that follows a man named Willie through his dream world. It's also a really great way to take in a college-level philosophy class in just a couple of hours.

As far as lucid dreaming goes, a woman named Susan Blackmore once wrote "lucid dreams do tend to occur in periods of higher cortical arousal." (Skeptical Inquirer, 1991). In other words, you were 'aware' enough, even in a dream state, to realize that your dream world couldn't be real. And then you had control of the dream. And you decided, in your dream state, that you were going to be where you were for 60 years. Isn't lucid dreaming wicked??

well not rly but ive had dreams where after a few days weeks or months ill have one with the same storyline

no but thats really interesting. What was it about? did you learn anything from it? But once i had i dream that lasted for two months

I have a friend that had a dream about living for several months. He said everything was so real and vivid. He even fell asleep and woke up in this dream. He was confused when he woke up and felt cheated out of all that time.

I can doze for just five minutes after hitting the snooze, and dream for several hours... so, why not?
