I had a dream where I chopped off two of my fingers because they were bothering me, what does this mean ?

Wow shaman thanks I never thought of it that way and yes I smoke and I just got back from the doctor last week because of very high blood pressure and my wife has been making me quit smoking and there are a few things I need out of my life.
