  1. Try to rinse as directed with warm water. keep your teeth clean n brushed (gently), don't eat hard, crunchy food, stay away acidic food and or juices. no Listerine it has alcohol and burns sensitive gums.

    YOU NEED TO TAKE SOME ANTI-INFLAMMATORY MEDS LIKE ADVIL TO HELP WITH THE PAIN AND SWELLING.

  3. Ask the dental professional about swishing with warm salt water, and ask for the right proportion of salt to water.  The proper amount of table salt will be more concentrated than in your tissues and will cause extra fluid from the swelling to come out into the salt, reducing the pressure and soreness.  Remember to gently swish, NOT gargle.

  4. take a couple of aspirin or other pain medication of choice
