I had a installment agreement on my back taxes I owed...?

I had a NSF and a check came back. by mistake of course. Can I reinstate and do it again. Will they let me. They sent me letter saying I owe all of it. But I want to make payment arraignments again.

If this is the first time you've screwed up the installmenta greement, you will most likely be reinstated.

However.

$45 reinstatement fee.

$$ NSF fee (2% of check).

Your failure to pay penalty just skyrocketed from .0025 to .01 per month.

Call and ask - they might let you, or at least let you set up a new agreement.

By bouncing the check to them, you broke the original agreement, resulting in the whole balance being due.
