do you agree with this statement - very few can make it in life especially in my state without transpo for work, etc. I guess i could ride my horse to work - is it my god givin right to ride into town on that. My point is i disagree - getting from point A to point B means everything and if you can't, more or less you screwed.

  1. Yes it is a privilege. If you can't pass a driving test, you shouldn't be able to drive. If you have a DUI, etc... sorry, you don't deserve to drive because at that point your car is a weapon and YOU are a murderer.

  2. It's not listed in the bill of rights, use of a vehicle has to conform to state and federal laws.  One of them being to own a driver's license, which your state controls.

  3. I'm 17 and live in California. Trust me I know I how it is to need a car. I've had 5 people threaten me that it is a privilege. If a judge threatened me, I would know I've done something wrong. If your reckless, you shouldn't have the right to drive. I suggest take a bus, ride your bike, or have a friend that's going your way take you.

  4. Yes, and many, many, many people make it to work, shopping and home without a car. The fact that you chose to live where you do, and that place requires a personal vehicle for you to get around conveniently does not give you the right to drive.

If you cannot drive, find a place that has adequate public transportation and move there.

  5. The judge was right.  It is a privilege.  The only God given transportation you have is your feet.

  6. IN BIG CITIES LOCAL TRANSITS ARE AVAILABLE BUT IF YOU LIVE IN THE RURAL AREAS ND OR SMALL TOWNS YOU ARE KINDA SCREWED.I WORKED IN LAW ENFORCEMENT 10 YEARS AGO AND IN TEXAS DRIVING IS NOT A RIGHT EITHER THAT IS HOW THEY CAN LEGALLY SUSPEND YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE.

IF IT WAS A PRIVILEGE TO BREATHE THEY WOULD TRY TO SUSPEND THAT ALSO.

  7. HEllgate, retards like you shouldn't be allowed to drive or ride ordinary transportations. It is weirdos like you who bring amongst us great inventions like....oh yeah, the short yellow bus inspired from one of your former ancestors exclusive to your line of genes.

  8. it is a privilege and to get from point A to point B you can use public transportation or your two feet! i know that I may not be able to drive cause by the time I can drive my sight maybe gone! so it is a privilege!

  9. It is a priviledge. If you abuse that privilege, it will be taken away. Back before cars people worked and went to school and traveled point A to point B, but it just took a lot longer. The privilege of being able to drive instead of walking or riding a horse saves time for you to do other things. Consider this hypothetical: It takes a man 2 hours to walk to get water from a source 12 miles away. One day he earns enough money to get a bicycle. Then it takes him 25 minutes to travel the same distance. He must get water to live. The bicycle is a tremendous privilege is it not? The streets are incredibly crowded and so riding recklessly could injure another individual maybe to the extent that they cannot even get water for themselves to live, so they die. If the man had just walked, then the accident never would have happened.

  10. What you were told by the judge is the absolute truth.

You have no RIGHT to drive, it's a PRIVILEGE given to you by the state you live in... and that privilege can be taken away from you.

If you got caught doing something against the law, you have to pay the price.

Sounds like somebody got in trouble and doesn't like it.
