Question

II am 21 years old and i had miscarryed yesterday and i am so much better emotionally about it today. I am still bleeding and am having some muscle soreness i dont know if that is normal or not. I want to try agian as soon as possible, i dont know when that will be all though my doctor has told me he wants 2 neg pregnany tests and than after that i could try agian, also within 1 day i went to 2 diffrent obgyns and i was at 6 weeks and 5 days but then the next day when i went to the other obgyn i was at 5 weeks and 4 days then 2 days later my miscarriage happened, was their a defualt in the machines or was that a sign i was going to miscarry soon. also how would i know if i needed a d&c. this was my first pregnancy, is it normal to miscarry your first pregnancy? sorry i just have had so many question and its a saturday so none of my obgyns are in so i wanted to as someone. Thanks

For calculations to be off by a week or so is not unusual. The soreness you are feeling is not unusual either depending on why you had the miscarriage. D &amp; C s are not routinely done in first trimester miscarriages any more, this has been for some years now. Pick one OB/GYN to stick with and do as he/she says.

first off don&#039;t worry about how far along you were. there is nothing you did to cause it and nothing you could have done to prevent it. your doctor will probably check your hcg levels every other day for up to two weeks so make sure it goes completely down on its own. if it stays the same or goes up they will do a d&amp;c. it just means that the whole thing did not come out on it s own. next off you need to have at least 2 periods before trying again. your first period will take 4-6 weeks to get after the miscarriage or d&amp;c. don&#039;t have s*x for 3-4 weeks from now to prevent infection, and allow proper healing. if you do conceive earlier than 2 months you could have another miscarriage or a premature delivery because your cervix didn&#039;t have enough time to heal.  hope this helps. i just had one back in may. if you want add me as a contact and we can chat. good luck
