  1. It really all depends. What happened, when it happened, just the situatution itself. The best thing is to contact a local lawyer and set up a meeting bring all medical information with you when you go.


  2. You don't say if this happened while doing your own employment work, but if it was, the same will apply in the UK if you were not given safety goggles to go with the job.

    If you are in a union, see the Union Steward, otherwise you could see a solicitor, or just telephone one of the accident insurance companies advertised.
