I had a nightmare and now i have anxiety? please read?

i had a nightmare about been suffocated and i woke up in a panic. why did this happen. 3 months i have been like this. any ideas?

  1. stop eating food late at night, dont think about negative things so much, cocentrate on happy thoughts


  2. are you in a new room or around someone new that makes you feel uneasy  

  3. you have started having panic attacks...

    do you feel?:

    Dizzy spells leading to panic

    Tightness in throat and chest- shortness of breath

    Racing heart with tingle sensations

    Hot flushes followed by waves of anxiety

    Obsessive worries and unwanted thoughts

    Not feeling connected to what is going on around you

    Overwhelming fear that the anxiety will push you over the edge?

    Fear of dying or having a heart attack?

    these are the symptoms of heart attacks... whatever happens, do know that those attacks will NOT cause you harm, you're not gonna die or anything, just try not to think about, do think that it might happen again, and when it does start to happen...keep telling yourself that it is not dangerous and just treat it as something usual that will soon go away,

    visit a psychiatrist, but dont freak out, you're not going crazy...it's just a thing that can happen to ANY alive human being!!!
