  1. If you have these dreams regularly you should go see a counselor.  You must have some unresolved issues over it.  I am sure the idea of molesting your child does gross you out, and that is good.  Dreams can be very disturbing.  It might help to talk to a counselor.

  2. Have you tried praying? asking God to remove these dreams from your mind..What happened to you were terrible, I some horrid things happen to me.. I had to let it go.. It'll eat you up and consume you if not.. I have heard of  a parent wanting their children to suffer their own pain..

Never say never.. I was reading here online of the horrid stories of abuse and now as so called parents themselves, they take it to their children.. You have got to get emotional help..

  3. I agree with some other responses that if you have some unresolved issues due to your past experiences you should seek counseling if you don't already, or haven't worked through these issues.

The perspective I use to dissect dreams, however, postulates that you are everyone/thing in your dream. So walking through the dream if we were doing an interpretation you would say something like "I am [child's name] in [your name]'s dream, I am very small and taken advantage of..." Or something like that.

Then if you were to say something like that, it would indicate that in your current life now that you have some either covert or overt issues with feeling small, taken advantage of, not having control, etc.

You use the image of your child in your dream because that is what your brain can access most readily for the purpose of this dream, to represent those feelings in yourself.

  4. I believe you hit the head of the nail.It probably is because you are worried about your children. It is simply natural for

    a parent to worry,because of a past horrifying moment.I

would not worry to much though everything should be okay.If your

religious than pray to the father in heaven about, and leave it in his capable

    hands.Hope I could help..

  5. Its fear, and dreams dont show exactly whats gonna happen. It maybe that u r dream is telling u that....watch over u r kid and keep an eye on him/her.Focus on other things for the moment.

  6. you might be right about your fear of the same thing happening to him, but you should really talk to a professional to get the best opinion.

    Good luck

  7. I understand I had a similar dream and am afraid to sleep next to my daughter because I hear so many bad things about father's but you have a ethical boundries so dont worry that is what makes it a nightmare and not a wet dream

  8. Seek help with a therapist quickly.  That is horrible.

  9. Maybe its your minds way of reminding you about that horrible day. I read a book about dreams once...

Dreams are the mind's and body's way of reminding you of the real world and previous expirences. I read the book because I wanted to know how to get rid of one of my dreams. When I was 4, I waited outside of a store for my mom on my tricycle. But I was in my moms view. And then this guy came up to me and toke my hand so I started walking away with him until my mom came out and stopped him. HE ran away. So I used to have dreams about that day and it was usually with different people like my teachers, my friends, even some bullies at school. The book mentioned somethings called lucid dreaming. Its when you can control your drea and make it dissappear. Here's a link for you on how to lucid dream. Or, you can see a therapist/phycologist.
