I had a party while my parents were on vacation, what do i say if they find a beer can or ciggarettes?

My parents went on a four day vacation, two of the nights i had parties. My parents are very strict about drinking, smoking and all of the high school partying activities. What do i say if they find a beer can i missed throwing out.. or if they find some kind of evidence i had a party?

I had a party last week and I was stuck with the same problem. To avoid this, get your friends to help you clean the place spotless. Chances are, if your friends can't find anything else after an hour of cleaning, then your parents won't either.

If you end up getting caught, then you need a good excuse. You should tell them that one of your friends brought someone from out-of-town over just for a get together. Say that this stranger was the one who left the beer/buds. That way, you can't get blamed and your parents won't be able to like call this stranger's parents. Always works when the blame is on a "stranger" ;)

If you are caught don't fess up to having a party, but your folks aint stupid either, tell them you had like 2 friends come over and 1 brought a six pack and you tried one but it tasted terrible.  Tell them the smokes were someone elses.

You got any siblings that live at home ? Blame them... if not .... Say you were held hostage it wasn't your fault, they poured the alcohol down your throat , that you didn't want to do it , and then brace yourself for probably the longest grounding you've ever experienced.

You have disappointed your parents that is for sure. I feel they thought you could be trusted while they were away. Anyway as soon as they walk in the home they are going to know you had been partying. They will smell the smoke and I am sure some tell tell signs of some beer being spilled somewhere the odor is going to smell. Better just tell them the truth because if you don't someone else will let it leak out . You may be grounded but it might not be as bad as if they find out from someone else. At least that is always what we taught our kids.

Hmmm thats a tough one, how do you explain an empty beer can or cigarette on the premises.

I'd most likely blame an anonymous or even fictional friend.

Say that you have no idea how it got there, but then offer the explanation that maybe your friend who smokes cigs dropped it in your house without your knowledge.

Dont act as if your on trial, act as if your on their side and wanna investigate why its there.

Try and get creative. When i was 14 my mom found my rolling papers, i told her i found them on the ground while walking home and didn't know what they were, so i decided to keep them.

Stuff like that.

However, i'm not sure if my aforementioned feigned innocence will work if they have just returned from a vacation.

Honestly bud, bad idea having a party at your house while your folks take such an authoritarian stance against partying.

Shoulda had it at some type of public location or someone else's house. I remember i pulled off a bonfire party down at my local lake, we managed to pull together a nice a$$ bonfire out of driftwood and tree branches, we even brought axes for the tougher branches.

Unfortunately for us, the bonfire attracted some police attention and me and my buddies had to bolt through the woods, 3 guys got arrested, as did 5 girls. I had to leave my weed at the site, and i lost a few nights of sleep worrying that they would find my weed and trace it back to me.

I think you should know better not to have a party if your parents are very strict about teen parties and drinking.  Well I'm sorry. But if they find out, that is what you get. If you did an excellent job at cleaning the house and hiding everything, you have nothing to worry about.

tell them your futer wife and her not so smart friends came over to visit but that she got mad at you when you told her smoking or dring friends to leave .
