  1. It helps to know what game you were playing.

  2. You must have insulted Bill Gates somehow.  His reach is everywhere.  The 200-point drop was just a warning.  Next, he's coming for your soul...

  3. You likely beat a much lower rated opponent by a smaller margin than was expected by your 1700 rating.

If your opponent had a rating of 500 and your outcome was very close (instead of the blow-out that would be predicted by the differences in ratings), your rating could take a dive (as it did).

  4. I'm assuming WoW arenas?

It sounds like a glitch or something, the max a game can be worth, if i recall correctly, is 32 points.

Open a ticket with a GM, they should be able to help you out, or atleast tell you what happened :)

BTW:  To the person above me, it's IMPOSSIBLE for it to drop that drasticly, no matter their opponets level.  The points go by an equation, so it's impossible to lose that many points through using this equation.

  5. 1. Some bugs with Yahoo! Games

    2. What game? I don't know.

  6. what game?

    patrick washington.

  7. Gonna need a bit more info than that... like what game it is you're asking about?

  8. sure thats not ranking?

  9. If you closed the window before it had a chance to recognize the change to a higher score, you lost your new stats. (I had that happen before and it took me 9 months to get a higher score.)
