I had a single focus Alcon IOL implanted, question?

I cannot see perfect. i had the surgery yesterday but i dont see how my visioin could heal any more... Its like i still need glasses. I have astigmatism is this why? Also my eyes are still dialated would this make it seem like i still need glasses but it really could heal and i could see better in a few weeks?

Give it a chance; allow yourself time to heal.  I do IOL implants several times a week and we always patch the eye for 24 hours.  Relax; you'll be fine.  Good luck to you.

Give me a break.  Twenty four hours and you expect to be recovered??????   Generally we don't consider the vision stable and ready for final refraction until about 5 weeks after surgery.

With astigmatism you may still need glasses.
