I had a spicy tuna rool, 6 pieces, a spicy yellow tail 6 pieces and a spicy salmon 6 pieces wats the calories?

There is 3 rolls total with 6 pieces in a roll. what are the total calories i am looking at? And is sushi bad for you?

  1. Without knowing the size of the pieces or what exactly is in there no one can figure that.

  3. That's alot of sushi for 1 person!  Sushi is healthy, a little extra carbs but it's fine.  Moderation is key, dont overeat. Next time, order a soup or salad and 2 rolls max.  Or order some edamame, soup or salad & only 1 roll.

  4. the sushi rice has a high content of carbohydrate.  Not to worry, your body needs it.  Also, the price is going up, so enjoy it while you can now.  save the world

Most of the calories will be in the rice which is 150 calories for each 1/4 cup.  I am assuming each roll had about 1/3 cup rice.  Sushi rice is sweetend with sugar which will be another 30 calories.  The fish itself lets say 3 oz total for another 150 calories.  So a ballpark guess is 780-800 calories.
