I'm seeing a new boy, we're very close already and everything feels like it is going great. However, I had a dream last night that, once I processed it upon waking, left me feeling a little nervous.

M - that's what I'll call him - and I were sitting, back to back. He was shaking with laughter, I was shaking with tears, and our arms were twisted so that our hands could link. The dream felt like it went on for an eternity, me sobbing, him laughing, but neither questioning the other or speaking anything. The area around us was pitch black, but it felt... bright... if that makes any sense... right around us. During the dream, it didn't seem odd, and we were very comfortable, but once I woke up and tried to understand it, I started feeling less assured of it. Do you have any idea what any of this could mean?

  1. Your dream strongly suggests that you are sensing things about this fellow that are kept from you and likely not good.

The implication is that he has a side of life that he will not willingly reveal to you and there are things there that would continue, as he wishes, that would be hurtful to you.  By the imagery you share here he is quite happy with having you plus whatever it is in his hidden life to enjoy.  The sense of darkness is likely related to the hidden nature of this undesired part of him.  The 'feeling' of brightness likely relates to what the relationship 'seems' to be, even though the darkness is realized - if subliminally.

Your tears tell it all in the context of the whole thing.  The entertwining of limbs also give a warning - while there should be a bond he's turned his back as if concealing something - and potentially ignoring you.  He may even be considered to be cynically laughing at you.  Your perceived comfort is illusionary - the other signs point to the more rational realizations that creep in.  It is this part of the dream that finally brings unease as you consider it in waking fashion.

The only real judge in this must be you.  This relationship is your reality - but consider these points carefully.  Perhaps there are just some suspicions that need clearing up - but take care to pay attention and avoid hurt by someone who could be quite dishonest and hurtful too.

All the best to you for happiness.
