I never went back for the follow up checks as i couldn't get time off work so have no idea if it worked or not. I know she hasn't cheated, we have 3 children under 22 months and she never gets a minute to herself, i trust her very much so would never question her fidelity.

We suspect she is pregnant as she is showing all the symptoms she had during previous pregnancies but it is too early to test, i know we can wait a few days to know for sure but i'm too impatient.

  1. there are over the counter preg tests that can be done before your period is due (in australia anyway). these are great for impatient people looking for answers.

it is great you trust your wife, fantastic to see. now go and get your test done.

  2. Yup it's very possible that she is pregnant, if you were having unprotected s*x.

Edit:  Yes, is is not common for a vasectomy to fail.  HOWEVER, it can take MONTHS for the remaining sperm to be "cleared out", so to speak.  It was eight months post-vasectomy before my husband got a clear test.

  3. a home preg test can be taken as soon as she misses her period, only 2 weeks after conception.  if she is far enough along in pregnancy to have symptoms, it's not too early for a test.

  4. Just don't forget to breathe. Things will workout. Sounds like a good marriage and loving family. (maybe this'll be the independant child) haha.  B-R-E-A-T-H-E!

  5. hmmm...sounds like cheating

  6. Should have had the follow up. She needs to have a test to make sure. Blood test is the best. If you go to the doctor for a simple urine test, they use the same over the counter ones you can just buy. It is not often but some vasectomies do not take. She probably is not pregnant, her body is just stressed. Good Luck.

  7. my best friends huband had a vasectomy and 10 months later she found out that she was pregnant. He didnt go back for check up test either. So yes it is possible. Not every vasectomy is successfull.
