I had a very bad dream! What does it mean?

Question

I don't believe in dream interpretation, but being that I am depressed and confined to my home, I wanted to hear what everyone thought.

It was a very real dream and very twisted! Could it reflect my sadness and lack of freedom or dignity? I will describe the dream in the "details" section.

You desire to be free of your confinement and find love and power, but you relize that this is just a fantisy desire.

Or is he very controlling?

Your old house might not have had the best memories there. But yet, you are starting to reflect on your past.

Your father may be abusive or too controlling to you. Your dream shows that he likes to make things become something that they are not. Chickens are a common nickname for cowards, which you may feel like he's trying to make you small to make him more of a man. Your mom may seem to be knowing of this but does nothing but be his aid alongside him.

You killing him is just a sign of resentment for him, of the frustration that you may feel towards him. And him turning to ashes just shows that even though you may feel this way towards him, you still wouldn't want to see him dead.

All of this may show that even though it is in the past and are memories, they are best left as just that and it is time to move on (getting on the bus).

Hi Cameron, I'm sorry you're going through some S**t at the moment - I just read your profiIe.  I cannot interpret dreams, but what is happening in your waking life is always reflected in your dreams, which is probably why it has affected you so badly.   Hang on in there.

well you could be right. Depression most often contributes a lot to the types of dreams a man could have at night. When I have a debt to settle and have no source of getting the money, my nights are filled with unpleasant dreams. I think you need some help.
