I had a very minor car accident in a "no fault insurance" state. What does that mean?

  1. it mean the same thing you turn it in to insurance and they handle it if you don thave it then you pay for damage

  3. No fault mean no one is faulted for accidents. Your insurance will handle your damage and the other party turns their claim into their insurance.  Now, if you were legally faulted (ticketed) you can be held responsible for the other parties deductible.  

  4. No fault has nothing to do with who hit who.  It has to do with the medical portion of your policy.  In a no fault state if you are injured your medical is paid (up to your limits) by your insurance company for your and your passengers.
