I knew right away because the rest of my foot hurt. When I pushed it around a little, it was painful, but went away. It hasn't come back, but now I am paranoid. What is it, and is it something to be worried about?

  1. probably it was your bones or ligaments..

    Don't worry its away..now

  2. You may have a cyst.  If it was a bone, you would have noticed it by now.  I have a cyst on my left foot because I was born with two tiny bones closer together than usual, and after my vigorous days and intense work outs, etc., the cyst formed from the two close bones rubbing together. Sometimes it hurts and affects my entire foot, often not even being able to walk, while other times I don't even know it's there.  It is a big bump and I too at first thought it was a bone, but contrary to my original thoughts, it was not.  Go to a podiatrist and check it out because mine told me it even could be cancerous (thank God it is not), but if the pain continues, I may even require a surgery to remove it and avoid the chronic pain and discomfort...not to mention be able to start working out again!  It won't hurt checking it out! Go for it.
