I had a weird period?

i got my period like normal and it was the same amout of time and everything. then i was off it for a day then today i started bleeding a little bit and now its gone. The only other time this happened was when I missed a few birth control pills. But this time i haven't. I dont usually take the inactive pills but from what i have read thats ok. I was just a little confused and wondered if anyone know what could have caused that.

birth control shortens and lightens your period! Lucky you :)

Sometimes it just does that I know I almost always did that every month.
