It has happened to me before. All I've done is finish the dream through daydreams. Occasionally, I'll have the dream occur again, and this time more parts are added, but no true ending to it. It does get  frustrating, but makes me wonder..

Maybe your subconcious is making you search for the ending? Think about it. Think about the dream, everything in it and everything that happened, and figure out what the ending was.

I usually don't dream the same dream or finish a dream from the night before. Maybe your brain works different, but I've never experienced it. I hate it when good dreams are interrupted! Make up the ending, make it just the way you hoped it would turn out :]
