I had alot of viruses

Question

i had alot of viruses and ran agateway renewal disk for an e machine t3256, i think i am supposed to unload norton and reload. but i am timid about doing so. i have changed my password and i need to know which version i have and how much time i have on my renewal. there shoul be an easy fix to this, can you help me or ask more questions so we can figure this out?
