  1. A good score on your PSAT would be around 2000.  Because you did not study, you should aim for over 650 per section.

The SAT has 9 sections, so it is a bit longer than SAT -- this is the stress to which most people refer.  The SAT and the PSAT test largely the same things -- the biggest difference is that the SAT requires an essay -- see http://www.collegeboard.com/student/test...  You can find broader information at http://www.collegeboard.com/testing/sat/...

You cannot expect your score to go up very much from the PSAT without studying.  Getting a tutor, working with a teacher you trust, and/or taking practice tests and reviewing your errors will help you answer more questions, and more questions correctly.

Because the SAT is one of two measures of academic ability in the college process, it is important that you feel your score reflects your ability.  This usually means earnestly preparing.  You can find practice questions at http://www.collegeboard.com/student/test...

The primary criteria for college admissions is not what type of person you are, but what type of student.  Preparing for, and doing your best on, the SAT, is one of a number of ways you can show colleges what you are capable of.

Good luck!  Please follow up if you need any more information.

  2. the SAT's arent' that hard, just be prepared thats the best advice i can give you, and having a 4.1  GPA sounds like you are going to be fine good luck =]

  3. It's not hard at all. I have a 4.0 and I didn't review or study at all for the SAT and I only took it once and I got a 2150. It's very easy. Don't worry about it. As long as you don't stress, you'll be fine.

  4. the PSAT is a little different from the SAT and I really doubt that the your psat scores are really like your sat scores. You should be fine, with a 4.1 obviously you care about grades and such.

I got a 1350 on the psats and ended up with a 2090 on the sats, so go figure. generally, 1500 is average on the sats and 1800+ is a good score, 2200+ is an amazing score, yale and harvard worthy :)

Just relax, and you'll be fine

If you do want to study or brush up a bit, there's the official Blue book collegeboard publishes and also a red book called the Rocket Review that will really give you great pointers.

    Good Luck!!

  5. 1850 is a fairly good score, but you could probably get it over 2000 by reviewing vocab words or other simple studying.  The SAT isn't that hard if you study for it, but going in unprepared isn't the greatest idea.

  6. I dunno but concentrate on the ACT.......SAT is useless mostly

  7. the SAT is very long! really not THAT hard. i took it a few times because colleges take the best score of each section! and each time you take it..your scores usually rises.

also check out the ACT if youre better with a variety of subjects. having both could better your chances for getting into college.
