  1. Try progressive.  They are usually pretty good.  Also, E-Surance quoted me a really good deal as well.  You will have a higher rate because of the accident for the next 5 yrs.  Thats what most insurance companies go back to.  Also, if you are under 25, it may drop a tiny bit once you turn 25.  If your in school, you can ask about a good student discount or if your older you can always see if there is something you can bundle.  Like auto/home or auto/renters insurance.  Good luck.  Insurance is hella expensive it seems like.  Everyone wants to make a buck i guess.

  2. Collisions and moving violations normally stay on your driving record for about 3 years.  Each renewal period your insurance company runs your driving record and that's a portion of what your premium is based on.

Any insurance company is going to run your record, you need to find one with 'accident forgiveness'...these allow 1 accident (if there's no bodily injury involved).

    Good Luck!!

  3. Try 800 insurance, It's a broker that can help you to get the best quote possible for your situation.

It worked for me really well.

I am paying $147 a month where many companies provided me with at least $300 quotes and even up to $400

    It's insane really.

  4. Your age is a factor although I don't know it , but even a local ins. co. with multiple providers a accident so recent will be available to any co. checking. It takes 2 years with some 3 with others and I suggest u go on line avoid the major ones right now u are a hire risk and they run credit summaries too. One that offers for ex. accent general, safeway and advertise low mon pymnts will b ure best bet.  good luck!

  5. you could try to obtain as much as resource as you can by search the keyword in search engine,if you have good luck there, then your problem solved.however,if you could not find the answer by doing that, here is the relevant resource i prefered.http://carinsurance.expertsupport.info/a...

  6. it will take 5 to 7 years for it to go down provided that you maintain a clean record in regaurd to accidents and tickets.

trade in your car for an absolute beater, that only requires liability insurance.

  7. There are tons of websites where you can get a free insurance quote. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Free-Aut... It only takes 5 minutes to do.
