  1. I find that looking into the mirror while holding your lids is helpful but to "watch" yourself pinch the lens out hard to do.  Try this technique, tuck your chin to your chest and hold both your lids as far open as possible then use your finger to slide the contact lens down so you see the lens against the white of your eye and pinch. Or do the same thing but keep "pulling/sliding" the lens down towards your bottom lid until the lens folds and pops out. If your lens feels "stuck or dry" put a few drops of rewetting solution into your eye or depending on the brand of solution that can work too. This advise only applys to SOFT lens NOT hard/gas perms.

  2. First, don't panic, that's just going to make it harder. Your having a problem gettng them out? Try this. Look up, pull the contact down (remember when you look up, it goes up also, it's on your iris, the colored part of your eye) and gently pinch the contact out. You need to do a wide, gentle pinch, your not trying to pinch your eye, just bring the two edges of the contact together. Be patient, it takes a little while and in 3 months, you will be able to pop them in and out in 15 seconds flat and will have forgotten how hard it was in the begining!

Congrats and let me know if you need more help!

  3. I had the same problem. I had to go back two or three times before I could get them in.  My advice is to simply relax your eyes; they are almost impossible to get in if you're nervous and tense. Also, not looking directly at your finger can help, as you aren't used to getting your finger that close to your eye yet.

Best of luck, and you will get them in! It just takes time and patience sometimes.
