I had an engine flush done on my car. What happened?!!?

I recently had an engine flush done on my car. Now, suddenly, I get horrible gas mileage and my cat. converters just had to be replaced. Are these connected? Two different mechanics said no. I find it a strange coincidence.

its easy to be taken advantage by a mechanic if you dont know about vehicles , the cat could have been building up deposits in it , what did they flush on your engine ! oil coolant all fluids ? if your cat was changed you should have put a performance muffler , also check your oil and ac filter make sure there clean fill the air in your tires to max ap for better gas milage ..l.

All the engine flush did was to clean out the cooling system, nothing to do with the cat converter

engine oil flush no fuel system or air intake cleaning possible connection it could have finished off a already failing cat.
