I had applied as a hair dresser in Australia and got file no. 6 months ago.can i do cosmeotologist course now?

I am good at my work .But now i want to learn more.i want to join VLCC for this diploma.I am working at a saloon and have to take 4 months leave.Will it go against my case?i am very confused

initially I was going to say yes just based on your question

But one of the requirements of this skilled migration visa under your profession is that the department needs to verify your place of work

I dont know what a cosmeotologist does but I wouldnt bother as you will need to probably do it again in Australia in order to comply with industry standards here

So stick to your hairdressing job because immigration will either call or visit you in your work place and that will be crucial to your application

they will just want to see that your place of work exists they dont care about how you work as a hairdresser and all that so plz dont be nervous
