Does this happen to alot of little girls I had it for around a year, year and half.

I think I read somewhere that if you had blonde hair as a child you have the blonde gene in you.

Is it true ?

  1. Maybe not.

Most Causasian children are blonde when they are born.  Actually , it is closer to WHITE haired.  That is because the cells that produce the hair color are not yet "working".  Sometimes it takes 3-4 years before the real color comes out.

  2. It's actually very common. My husband and I both had blond hair as kids and now we both have dark brown hair. My daughters were both blonde too but my 6 year old is getting darker but after playing in the sun for a few days it gets lighter.

  3. ya if it persues at birth but as u grew black colour of hair took a dominant role ndue to climate change like in drosophila. n so now your hair colour is black n it'll remain so
