  1. Do you mean a salon fake tan?  Or using a sunbed?

So far I don't know of anything in self-tanning products that is contra-indicated, but why not call your doctor?

If you talking about sunbeds, Why chance putting yourself through cancer stages again?  You are obviously concerned that you might be doing the wrong thing, so have sensibly asked question for reassurance- but they aren't safe.

Doctors say safest tanning is to use a self-tanning agent.  Celebrities use self-tanners booths - their insurance probably has  clauses banning them from sunbathing!

There are lots of lovely products for self-tanning.  Look on www.after-cancer.com - there is stuff about Coco Chanel starting the tanning craze  etc.  and sensible products listed.

  2. I Agree with paramedic girl.  My wife is fighting breast cancer now...you should think about what you are exposing your body to, especially after having gone through treatments.

    Is it really worth it?

  3. It's best to ask your doctor this.

And why you'd want to go tanning after already surviving cancer is beyond me. You need to concern yourself with skin cancer.

    Pale is pretty.
