  1. same thing happened to me....but still no feeling and it's been 2 yrs now

  2. Some people heal faster than others, in time I'm sure, all or most of the tiny nerves and blood vessels will reconnect and heal- bringing sensation to  your skin. My c-section was 31 years ago, I don't remember the time that I got my feelings.

I'm sure it'll be sooner than 31 years!! lol. Just quit pinching!!

Congratulations to all of you, c-sectioned moms!!

  3. i had a c-section 5 months ago and i still feel it i hope it gets bette

    r

    soon

  4. My c-section was also 4 months ago and is exactly the same as you describe it.  No feeling at all.  The docter also told me that it will go away after a while and that it is normal.  But I don't know how long before it goes away

  5. I had forgotten about that. Mine is very old and my feeling is back. but I do remember it being numb for quite some time.

  6. You posted this in adoption. Your question has nothing to do with adoption!!!!!!!!!!

  7. you have been cut around a high nerve area, so therefore it will take a long time for the feeling to come back, and the nerve endings to reattach themselves, i know this can be a strange sensation on that area, because that area is already sensitive, yes it will take a long while, but thats a natural healing process. have patience lol.

  8. My son is 16 weeks and my scar is exactly the same. No feeling. Not sure how long it lasts but some people I've asked said theirs lasted a year or so. I hate it, it's so horrible. I hope your Dr is right and that it will go away soon, lol.

    Congratulations on your baby!

  9. i think you will be fine. i didn''t have a c-section, but my sis did and she said that it stays like that for a while. if it doesn't stop in 2-3 more months, i would seriously go se a doctor

  10. That's pretty normal for most abdominal surgeries, including C-sections, hernia repairs and colon resections.  Nothing to worry about!

  11. Its normal.  It took me a little longer.  I know it was over a year, maybe closer to two years.  It will come back thou.  Congrats on the baby:)

  12. When you have major abdominal surgery, everything gets cut, and that includes the nerves in the area.  Nerves take a notoriously long time to regenerate, when they do at all.  You can expect that "short time" to be six or more months, and you will never get all the feeling back, just like any other scar.

  13. my friend has 3 year old twins born by c section and she didn't get the feeling back until around their 3rd birthday.
