I had chemo and radiation on neck have terrible taste in mouth what can i eat that wont taste terrible?

I am finally get some taste back from getting radiation on the neck.

You can using plastic utensils. I also read using a certain type of zinc can help, but my Radiologist stated not to. I could not find anything to really help.

I am going to have to go through that soon and they warned me that there would be lots of pain and nothing would taste good - in fact it may never taste good again if your taste buds are affected.  

Try some fruit or vegi smoothies, and try very natural foods.  Our bodies tend to like those better anyway, so your tastebuds might like them.

I also have just had Radiotherapy on my lower neck and am suffering with this rank taste too! i was never told about my taste never returning, I was told that usually after a fortnight most side effects from the radiotherapy start to dissapear.

No-one can tell you, each person is individual.  You will have to try different things and be prepared to throw a lot away.  Best of luck.
