I had compiz fusion on ubuntu and i uninstalled it PLZ HELP.( read details below)?

now i want it again so i installed it again. but now when i do the cube effect it changes my work space fromj 4 to 2 and wont let me go to 4. it says its for but theres only 2 boxes

To enable the cube :

System>Preferences>Desktop Settings Manager

Once in the Desktop Settings Manager :

Click on general options at the top select the Desktop size tab, you will see that the Horizontal Virtual Size is 2 increase that to 4
