I had contact until he was 7 an then agency closed.I started searching again.Advice?

This is your 18 year old son who was adopted, right?  I'm assuming you know his adopted name, since you had contact until he turned 7.  If this is true, there are a variety of search tools you can use to find him.  What info do you have?  That will make a difference in what tools to use.

If he knows your name and your sister's name, he may be able to initiate contact.  Did you have direct contact?  Do you know what the adopted name was?  What city?  What school attended?  Is there any way to have the records of the adoption agency opened by a state agency.  Contact your local government representative.  That may be a start and then use any leads that you are given to continue
