I had endomitriosis and it got removed in January. Why I still ahve pain from the surgery today?

I had a big cyst removed from my ovaries in January and until today I'm having pain in certain spots in my stomach. The area of the cut is fine now, but somewhere around my muscles in my belly still hurts. I tought it was normal at first, so didn't care much about. But 7 months later the pain is still there, I'm worried now. The surgery was like a C-Section. Is that a normal thing? or could it be that the doctor forgot something inside of me? I'm only 24, it shouldn't take that long for it to heal.

  1. It is possible that the endometriosis grew back. This happened to me even after I had a hysterectomy.

  2. i dont know too much bout endomitriosis.  but i wasss under the assumption that you will always have it.  as it causes some scar tissue.-- thats the cause of some of the pain.   like i said that was my assumption....

i would call your doc!!! if you cant talk direct to him/her, ask for a nurse.  they should have some kind of answer for you.   good luck!!!
