I had laparoscopic gallbladder removal surgery on monday and one of the 4 tiny incisions is draining?

is this normal? it looks like a mixture of puss and blood, it is not open though, its draining slowly so its not like it dangerously gushing or anything though, but should it be draining at all? I put a bandaid on it just to protect it with some neosporin, do you think this is a good enough concern to call the doctor about in the morning? all the other incisions are not draining at all just this one, and ive only noticed bruising around this one also, not the others. im a 21yr old female and i had the surgery monday afternoon, they told me i could take the dressings off in 24hrs and shower and i did.

  1. I would call your dr first thing in the morning, sounds like an infection.


  2. Call your Dr first thing in the morning.  Probably nothing, but they may want to see it first hand.
