I had milk spill in the back seat floor and i cleaned it but there are maggots coming out of the carpet.?

I have never heard that salt kills maggots.  Salt kills slugs though.... I do know that bleach kills maggots....

sounds like you didnt get all of it in time before it leaked through the carpet. most likely your gonna have to have it ripped out cleaned and have new carpet put in

Pour salt on the carpet. Salt will kill maggots.

I agree with MM.  Salt will kill off the maggots.  Let it sit for a couple of hours, then vacuum it up, if there are still maggots, then add the salt again.  This should kill them.  If you don't like using salt, then try baking powder.  It's more gentle.  As soon as you think the maggots are gone, get a steam cleaner on the area.  The milk went through the carpet and is into the pad beneath it.  Hopefully by doing all this, you're problem will be solved.  Good luck.
