first things first im really happy to be pregnant and delighted its healthy. the woman told me i was gana have a girl so im verry happy but.....

i have 2 grils already and had terrible morning sickness with both and by 21 weeks i had a nice big bump but this pregnancy is totally diffrent, im hardly showing at 21weeks and carrying very low and had hardly any sickness about 3times a little. im convinced im carrying a boy and cant take inn that its a girl, i just have a feeling.

i had the needle and thred test and it went in circles twice and that was my 2girls then it swung back and forth for a boy.

can they get the gender wrong at all and has any one else experienced this and could my feelings be right.

im happy with either and love my girls and this bump

  1. Ur pregnancys are bound to change, ur having ur third so ur bodys going to change shape, react differently etc...........

Every pregnancy is different, but also they can get the s*x wrong as well. To be sure, ask again in a later scan where it will be even more definate.

    Congratulations anyway!!

  2. the height of the bump and tread test are old wives tales mean nothing,

they do sometimes get it wrong saying its a girl when it could be a boy but this happens very rarely!

if she was confident its a girl then so should you be, did you see the 3 lines dow there? showing the lips? when we had our Scan at 20 weeks there was no way of mistaking our boy! with his extra dangly bits down there! lol..

if you want to know for sure then go for a basic 3d scan we can get them locally for £70! so not to expensive! and they will check the s*x also for you.

    good luck

  3. They can get it wrong, but i don't think they often do as they are trained at what to look for. don't but any pink clothes if you have a feeling, just in case!!

  4. just be thankful.

there are a lot of women who would LOVE to be in your place.

  5. my cousin got told whole way throu her pregnancy she was was having a girl and when she give birth she had a boy i was told with my 2nd daughter i was having a boy at my 5 month scan went for another scan and got told i was having another daughter so they could be wrong but then again you never know until you give birth

  6. For starters, the needle and thread thing is just superstition/wives tale. You don't really believe that do you? It's all sub-consiousness.

Second, my sister in law had an ultrasound that thought it was a boy. Turns out it was a girl haha I was so happy. She's a *****.

Third, I don't really believe in the lower bump/high bump and all that deal, so honestly, I don't think it matters how high or low you carry to determine the s*x. My friend had a miscarriage with a boy and swore up and down she was having a boy her second time because she was carrying differently, and she didn't. Now she swears up and down again because she's "carrying low" that it will be a boy, but she's only a month or two along. She's overly convinced, which I'm sure it will be a girl again.

The only advice I really have is go back in for another ultrasound, but ask for the 3D one.

And blame your husband if it's another girl lol. It's the man's chromosones that make the s*x of the baby.
