I had my Cable Box unplugged and now it won't work?

I unplugged my Cable Box so that I can move it and now it won't work. It just says ONE MOMENT PLEASE. But it's been saying that for a few hours. Is there a way to fix it without calling my company (Comcast)?

  1. If that doesn't work, unplug the box again and wait 10 - 20 seconds before plugging it back in.


  2. Did you unplug the power only?  Or did you undo the cable also?  

    Be sure the cable line is attached too.

    If that's OK, check your reset button.  (It's usually on the back of the box).  Press that in.  If that doesn't work, you'll have to call them up.  They should be able to reset it remotely, without making a trip to the house.
