  1. lots of bugs are very hardy. COCKROACHES CAN SURVIVE A NUECLEAR BLAST!!! ME THINKS SPIDERS CAN SURVIVE POISON!!

  2. An exterminator can only kill a spider if he can see it. Nothing can be done for spiders except if the spider gets hit with the pesticide. If they walk on it later- it will not hurt them.

Did the centipedes die? if they did- its working,

Having an extermination done does not mean you will not see bugs. It means they are eventually supposed to die if they contact the pesticide before it biodegrades-usually is about 7 days.

But for spiders- you are better of to get a can of "raid" and zap them when you see them.

  3. apparently theres always a spider within 10m distance from you

  4. Check your house for cracks and openings where they may be coming in. A rare occasional centipede or spider is not going to cause problems although I admit centipedes are ugly creatures in my opinion. If you have a couple of non-lethal spiders they can patrol the house for harmful pests such as cockroaches, silverfish, flies, etc... But your problem is likely a hole in your house somewhere that is serving as a gateway for these bugs.

  5. Call the exterminator and tell them that you have had poor results. Did you get a warranty on the service provided?

They might not have used the proper chemicals for the species that you have.

  6. lol,i feel 4 u.well maybe the poison wasnt effective and maybe it needs a double coat?!?.just check with the company and ask for another coat and make sure they get into every corner.hope this helps!

  7. They will keep coming in.  there is a spray you can get at a home center that you spry the perimter of you home with.  This will keep the bugs outside out for a long time.  I think ortho makes it and it is sold by the gallon ready to use or a concentrate.  It really works.  Get around your windows, doors, garage door, and the general perimeter where the house meets the gournd.  They killed what was in the home but more can come in.

  8. You need to move out of there or if you dont want to, get a flamethrower and blast it inside your apartament

  9. Sorry Jack, I have to tell you.  Next time get someone to exterminate the pests and let your apartment live.  Who wants to live in a dead apartment?

Seriously, critters can get through the smallest holes.  Buy yourself a caulking gun and a few tubes of latex caulking and run a bead of caulking along every joint, seam, edge, etc.  Fill the tiniest of holes.  Check where pipes come into your place under the kitchen sink and bathroom basins and behind the toilet.  Caulk around the pipes.  If you have to, stuff the hole with wadded newspaper caulked into place.  Check your window screens are seated properly in their tracks.  Check weather stripping on your patio door and exterior door.  You may need to install a "sweep" (a rubber strip) on the bottom of the exterior door.

Explanation.  Your exterminator probably killed the pests that were there at the time but, clearly, there are openings that allow outside critters in.  Since they had no competition, in they came.

BTW - take care not to leave any food around - i.e. crumbs in the couch, pizza boxes in the corner, unrinsed empty beer bottles in the closet.   That's like posting a For Rent to bugs sign on Yahoo!
