I heard female dogs bleed but if you get them sprayed this won't happen. Is this true? If so, do anybody know why she might be bleeding?

  5. hi my name is amber and im not sure if you will get this but i do know that if i can give a little insight it may just help you. my dog was a year old and he started peeing blood as well this was about 5 days ago. and i took him to the doctor on Sat. it was the only day i could get him in, and apparently too late.the vet took a pee sample, and came back in and told me that in his 20 yrs, of doing this he had only seen this case 3 times. he said my dog had a disease where his body was fighting his own good blood as if it was an infection. and because of this the blood his imune system attacked was being filtered through his kidneys and out his pee. and the thing that can cause this is usually common in cows and other pasture animals because its common to cause this by a toxic plant. but my dog was not anywhere around a plant and when he went out i was there watching him because he was a small dog. he put him on steroids and antibiotics. but it was too late. so please take this information if you havent taken her to the vet yet and maybe tell the vet this info. i dont mean to scare you but i just hope this may help someone.
