I had my garmin gps nuvi 750 stolen out of my car today .?

Is it possible for garmin to locate the theif threw the gps?

If you file a police report and have the serial number handy Garmin will enter it into their system and if the thief (or whoever the thief sells it to) ever tries to register the unit or call in for support Garmin can notify the police. I would like to emphasize the part where i said "or whoever the thief sells it to". Most of the people out there that are stealing these GPS's aren't stealing them for personal use. These items are easy to steal and sell just as easily.

Unfortunately no, you are going to have to replace it but the price has gone down so shop around before you buy...
