I had my gf tell the police about her abusive dad but they arnt doing anything

i convinced her to tell the police about her dad

but they jsut sent her to the er and then she went back home they arnt doing anything about the problem

why the h**l arnt they taking her out? or keeping him away from her????

maybe she should talk to a school counselor who can refer her to a social worker and get the legal ball rolling?

abuse is complicated. even if its obvious physical abuse..its the kids word against the parents

running away is always an alternative that some abused kids take
