I had my hair died light blonde and now its kind of orange?

if i go back to the hair dressers and have them put a toner in it will that help? my hair used to be dirty blonde. will a toner damage my hair? thankyou!

  1. definitely go in for a toner. i don't think it's free, but go to a professional. it's non-damaging


  2. Your hair is not over-processed.

    It was not processed long enough to achieve the desired color/shade.

    A toner may not solve your problem.  

    Some toners only coat the hair shaft, do not have any lifting power and will shampoo out in 3 to 4 shampoos, leaving you with the same orange color.

    Toners which use peroxide have very little lifting power, which could still leave your hair only slightly lighter, but still in the orange stage.

    Call the salon and ask for the owner/manager or stylist.

    Tell him/her that you are not happy with your hair color.

    I'm certain they will do their best to make your hair the desired color.

  3. If u had your hair dyed prefessionally they over processed the color and they need to redo it or tone it for free it will help but wont fix it completely
